A speed piece I did that utilizes very simplistic forms and relies heavily on texture, I call this piece “The Road Not Taken”, named after Robert Frost’s poem, though perhaps, with a new fantasy twist on it?

I created a new character, who’s mostly finished. Here’s the result!
I worked a lot with medieval Indian, Mughal, and Sikh references to design this armor set as a mix of Indian inspired fantasy and sci-fi (as you can see with the emissive armor and the spinal mount). I haven’t quite named the character yet, but that’ll be coming soon.

I started doing some random art pieces lately (more on that in a separate post). An art group I’m a part of was doing pieces involving dogs, so I created my take on it:
This was a speed modeling challenge (I spent around 10 hours in total on this), and I was also hoping to get into the zone for a new project I’m spinning up. I’ve also been experimenting with Maya fluids simulations for things like explosions, jet exhausts, fire, and dust as well.

Another shot/piece I’ve made for the upcoming episode of Age of Spite, this is Dara Surya!
This piece represented a lot of experimentation for me in terms of how I composed the shot, using things like Kitbash3d and adding in my own textures, lighting and ocean sim rather than modeling everything. It somehow worked well.
